2-5th Grade Recognition Nights:
(Coaches and Players get in free, wear jerseys)
Boys - Friday, 12/13, between JV (5:30 tipoff) and Varsity Boys Games
(meet at aux gym at 6:00pm to line up)
Girls - Wednesday, 12/18, Varsity Girls Halftime (tipoff 6:30pm)
(meet at aux gym with 4 minutes left in second quarter of varsity game)

Youth Tackle Football
- 3rd/4th Graders: 8-on-8 against other MV teams, no travel (deadline 8/16)
- 5th/6th Graders: 11-on-11, some travel required (deadline ends 8/9)
- 3/4 Graders:
- Fittings start July 29, 5:30-7pm high school
- 3 training/fitting nights (please attend at least one if possible) 5:30-6:30pm: 7/31, 8/5, 8/7
- 5/6 Graders:
- Fittings/workouts to start second week of July. More info to come.

MVHS Aux Gym
New this season: we are accepting registrations for incoming 2nd through 6th graders!
- Practice to start week of 8/19
- Need coaches at each level (looking for a lead coach at each school and assistants)
- MVHS varsity head coach Laura Newcomb to provide coaching materials and assistance
- Practice location/days/times, game schedule, etc. coming soon!
2nd-3rd Graders:
- School teams and practices at elementary schools if numbers allow
- MV teams play each other
- Meet twice a week
- First half of season: two practice nights a week
- Second half of season: one practice night, one game night a week
4th-5th Graders:
- School teams and practices at elementary schools if numbers allow
- MV teams to play each other and potentially other area elementary teams
- Meet twice a week
- First half of season: two practice nights a week
- Second half of season: one practice night, one game night a week
6th Graders:
- Multiple teams if numbers allow
- Will play against other schools
- Plan to practice after school at least twice a week
- Looking for a lead coach for all 6th graders, assistants needed as well

- Volunteer coaches
- 4 v 4 games on smaller fields (no goalies)
- Practices start 8/26
- Games start on 9/7 (mostly on Saturdays)
2nd-3rd Grade League

- 8 v 8 on medium field (including goalies)

- Games start on 9/7 (mostly on Saturdays)
4th-6th Grade League

- 10 v 10 on large field (including goalies)
- Practices start 8/26

Youth Flag Football
-K-3rd grade (K-1 league, 2-3 league)
-Deadline to register is Friday, August 16th.
-Practice to start the week of 8/26
-Games to start 9/7 (MVHS practice fields, behind tennis courts)
-Jerseys and flags provided
Youth Cheer
- Deadline 8/16
- K-6th grade
- Will cheer for flag teams and 3/4 grade tackle teams
- Practices 8/26; Games 9/7
- Shirts and pom-poms provided
League Fee: $35 ($20 siblings)
For the safety of our children, all volunteer coaches will be subject to a background check.
